While this book is both a historical and contemporrary work of fiction, there is much to learn in its pages. It is a study of two women, both facing similar issues but living 80 years apart. It certainly is true that there is nothing new under the sun as hearts can be so broken by wrong relationships and they can also be healed by right relationships. This is a faith based novel and I loved the short chapters giving me time to put it down and pick it back up as time allowed me. It was diffinitely worthed reading and I heartily recommend it.
