Jane Austen, a strong Black heroine, a dashing man who adores her, fighting gentrification, International humanitarian aid... Yes, yes, and more yes! This book was pure joy. It made me laugh out loud. Aleze and Janae Bennet...pure genuis. I can't wait to read more by Ms. Payne.
