This couple's top priorities for his or her wedding right from the start were, "that guests wouldn’t need to travel far, and could be well looked after with great drink and food.

Danni informs us that she first met Damien through work. "We both operate in the same job however in different roles," she says. "For years, we'd never really met or chatted, however when we finally did, as cheesy as it sounds, it had been love in the beginning sight!"

Damien popped the question on the family holiday to Spain over Christmas. "On Christmas morning we went to the balcony in our room to switch presents," Danni remembers. "It was on the cliff edge and overlooked an amazing sea view. As the sun was approaching for your day, Damien got recorded on one knee and proposed having a beautiful antique ring from my favorite jewelers."

Danni and Damien inform us they had planned marriage with 150 guests for June 2020 once the pandemic hit. "We were instructed to postpone our original date in June due to the first lockdown, after which had months of uncertainty wondering if our new date would proceed," Danni informs us. "We reduced our original guest list from 150 to 50, managing to help keep everything else exactly the same and thankfully keep all in our suppliers."

Danni describes their wedding as, "such a remarkably emotional day. We attempted to stay positive and hope for the best, but need to constantly adjust to new restrictions am incredibly stressful."

A couple of days before the marriage, the federal government announced that Dublin could be going back into lockdown. "We only got confirmation 24 hours prior to the day our wedding could proceed," Danni says. "We managed to get by the skin in our teeth. The relief of walking down the aisle on that day is a feeling that I won't ever forget. Having everyone that people loved in a single room to celebrate our marriage was using this world. The excitement comes up with the most incredible atmosphere for the entire day and night."

The couple's two children, 3-year-old Eli and 1-year-old Jude served as page boys. Aren't they adorable!? Danni informs us, "As almost as much as we desired to have our two small boys active in the day, we actually wanted your day to be about myself and Damien like a couple, once we spend most of our days being busy parents. It is lovely using a day to celebrate our love and friendship."

This couple's top priorities for his or her wedding right from the start were, "that guests wouldn’t need to travel far, and could be well looked after with great drink and food." Danni also adds, "fantastic music throughout the day along with a party atmosphere."

Danni informs us that she and Damien always knew they wanted a town wedding. "Dublin was the most obvious choice for all of us as we're both after that. Neither people had actually had you been in city hall but tend to tell in the pictures by word of mouth that it could be perfect. It’s just absolutely stunning along with a beautiful landmark within the city. It’s the perfect place for the very first dance, a champagne reception and it has beautiful lighting and backdrops for photos."

The couple informs us that music was hugely vital that you. "The acoustics in city hall is incredible. We had the Dublin Gospel Choir sing in the ceremony, and Damien's friend, Richard Bohan Martin, is really a singer-songwriter, so, as a surprise, he sang with Dublin gospel Choir for the first dance following the ceremony. This was a very special moment and our children joined us."

Danni's jumpsuit is as simple as designer Georgia Young Couture from The One by Sinead Corcoran, as the overskirt was made for her by Anna O Alterations. The result, we all know you'll agree, is drop-dead gorgeous!

Danni informs us that her Mum, unfortunately, couldn’t attend the marriage, as she's within the advanced stages of Alzheimer’s, however, the couple was keen to possess her represented on your day. "I asked the florist to include Forget Me Nots into my bouquet, and, rather than wedding favors, we designed a donation on behalf of our guests towards the Alzheimer’s Association of Ireland."

For the reception, the pair was keen to prevent anything too traditional. "We are generally big fans from the Press Up venues in Dublin, particularly Roberta’s," Danni says. The vibe, style, interiors, drink, and food really ticked all the boxes for all of us. When we discovered that you could rent it exclusively, we knew that we'd have our reception there. We didn’t even view elsewhere."

The layout at Roberta's didn't permit a full band so the pair had to think away from the box for that evening's entertainment. "We decided to possess an amazing singer called Hannah Stockwell Quinn sing accept her partner after dinner, then a disco with Sing Along Social. We had seen them in a festival before and absolutely loved them."

Danni's advice to engaged couples is, "do it the right path, don’t want to conform or please others. Enjoy the planning and prep almost as much as you can, because, when it’s throughout, you’ll surprisingly miss it. Your photographer and videographer are one the most important suppliers, choose them wisely as the photos and video are a lasting memory of one of the best times of your life. We couldn’t happen to be happier with Michelle Prunty and Ronan from Amare Stories, and just how well they worked together."

Danni and Damien were likely to spend their honeymoon around the Amalfi coast but needed to cancel their trip because of Covid travel restrictions. "Instead we did a night within the Merrion Hotel, Dublin, and three nights in Ashford castle. It was a memorable experience and something we would totally recommend. We were treated like royalty both in hotels!"
