A Colourful Summer Marquee Wedding

I hope that this wedding inspires you to take strong colors and put them in the center of your wedding, so let's have a look.

On 3 August 2018 primary school teacher Kate and financial advisor Joe wed inside a Roman Catholic ceremony at, Middlesbrough.

I'm sure you'll agree that Kate looks so elegant and classically beautiful in her gown which she chose in Newcastle. It is so, so glorious because of its sleek, pared-back silhouette having a divine illusion bodice of exquisitely fine, botanical lace that is repeated in the hem.

"I loved the simplicity from the crepe fabric and also the straight silhouette but many of all I loved the long train and high lace round the skirt."

"My bridesmaids wore lavender bridesmaid dresses."

As well because the grown-up bridesmaids, Kate had a lovely page boy, wearing a bright blue suit. Her little flower girl is dressed inside a pure white, lacy dress along with a wonderful floral crown of thistle and foliage.

In keeping using the wine hues from the day, his tie was inside a deep red, and he added a crisp white shirt, socks, and shoes, in addition to cufflinks gifted from his mum. Joe was combined with eight groomsmen, all in matching suits.

The couple looks so happy because they emerge directly into the August sunshine, with confetti cascading around them. The entire party then made their method to Ormesby Hall, where they were welcomed towards the marquee reception.

"I honestly can't pinpoint a popular part from the day. However, I remember arriving at the venue using the steel band playing and seeing everyone arriving experiencing the welcome drinks and thinking, 'Wow, we've tried it!'." Go

"We wanted a summer wedding therefore we set the date for 2018 which gave us 19 months to plan the marriage. Claire from Ormesby Hall was brilliant at co-ordinating your day."

Kate and Joe first met inside a nightclub last year, and Joe proposed in 2016 just 72 hours before Christmas.

The marquee was beautifully dressed up in tones of blush and white, with romantic hoops of silk roses and foliage hanging in the ceiling.

"We hired hurricane vases, chair drapes, candles, and candle holders. We made floral hoops to hang on the sides of the marquee from hula hoops, gold spray paint, and silk flowers. The stationery was all homemade (having a little the aid of a very talented friend)."

The wedding breakfast was catered for by and, rather than a wedding cake, a colorful macaron tower stole the show.

"We didn't wish to spend a fortune on the cake and couldn't believe how beautiful (and price-effective!) the macarons were."

For the evening party, Kate and Joe entertained their guests by having a band along with a DJ.

"Our first dance was 'High' through the Lighthouse Family. It is a song that's loved on my own and Joe and one of my favorite memories from the day is everyone crowding around us singing along in the end danced together."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"My words of wisdom are always to steal a basic moment on your reception to face back watching all of the friends and family having an incredible time."
