An American couple and Matthew headed to Newark, Nottinghamshire for his or her outdoor celebration on 16 April 2019, getting nearby for his or her effortlessly elegant reception.

Fitting to have an early spring wedding, Lauren decided on wedding dresses with sleeves that are simply cut but so sexy. She looks radiant and I love the way the formal cut from the high-necked bodice flows out into the fishtail train – as well as the daring open back.

"I could picture myself wearing something with sleeves and buttons… a lot of buttons! The moment I tried it on I started crying. It was built with a little bit of everything I love inside a dress. Long sleeves, millions of buttons, figure-flattering along with a (wedding-appropriate) deep V back."

Matthew and Lauren met while attending college but didn’t meet up until following the groom's graduation.

"The timing never worked after which after Matthew graduated we reconnected. After almost 5 years of long-distance dating, we've got engaged and married."

"I wasn't likely to wear a veil however they brought that one out and I fell in love! The beading across the edge perfectly mimicked the belt we put into the dress."

The wedding cake would be a pretty, three-tiered affair with fresh roses and foliage cascading on the side.

"My mother-in-law visits England several times annually so this past year she went and did several cake tastings for all of us. Susan's Cakes was probably the most delicious. We were built with a lemon layer along with a chocolate fudge layer. It was AMAZING."

"I loved everything concerning the day and would change nothing. We planned a lot of it but because we were built with a small group I was able to maximize your day. The weather was perfect, the drinks and food delicious, music was fun, and everyone has kept referring to how much fun they had."

Later in the evening, the newly-weds guests watched them decide to try the party area for a first dance to 'When You Say Nothing At All' by Alison Kraus before getting them up and moving.
