How have you met your Fiance?

We worked in the same company but different divisions and floors. We always had eyes for every other until one night I was all out for any co-worker's birthday and long story short he would be a whiskey drinker and I'm of Irish descent using the last name Powers. So I asked him if he desired to take a shot of Powers whiskey...however the rest is history. We were inseparable since!

Tell us concerning the proposal!

We were during my hometown of Charlottesville, VA for Thanksgiving with my loved ones. The day after Thanksgiving, all of us went out to a couple of vineyards, simply to end up inside my favorite vineyard, Afton Mountain! He continued saying he desired to do a great group photo using the whole family. He was scoping the spot, found one, set his camera on a stand, and set it on the auto shoot. We were jumping in and out of shots, everyone, then siblings, then couples, it was our turn and I visit pose with him and that he was on a single knee. Meanwhile, your camera was actually on the record, not auto-shoot.

How have you chosen the place for your wedding? What type of venue had you been looking for?

My parents reside in Kiawah Island, SC. It's the most breathtaking place ever there wasn't any question about this!

We knew I was going to get married at The River Course for a long time. The date was locked in before I got engaged by my mom and fiancé. You virtually have to book it a year ahead of time and grab whatever's available! The view and venue itself are simply stunning! You can't have that river view anywhere and also the elegance from the clubhouse with natural wood elements is what I wanted.

How have you decided on your bridesmaid dresses? Tell us about your experience at FeelTimes!

My potential sister-in-law and her mother own the FeelTimes Dresses. They were in a market once they saw these dresses and sent an image to me and I knew then that's what I wanted! Still even today the most breathtaking champagne bridesmaid dresses I've ever seen. Two of my bridesmaids wore it again per month later to a different wedding. All the dresses arrived and on some time and just as beautiful as I imagined they'd all look.

Who designed your wedding dress and where have you get it?

I wore the wedding gown from FeelTimes!

What inspired you whenever you were planning your special day?

Well, I had the most wonderful wedding planners in the whole world which made it simple for me! They are amazing! I will love all of them forever!

What was your preferred part from the day?

I think the favorite part for both people is if this was throughout and I was riding around the back top from the car, we kissed, took a deep breath, and merely looked up in the stars as I was riding away using the most amazing breeze with the air. It was just a memorable sense of peace and happiness.

What advice have you got for other brides?

I know everyone says this however it couldn't become more true...once the day comes just appreciate it! You spend so much time and energy planning this unique event and within the blink of the eye, it's over. Just take time, even 2 minutes to sit down back together with your husband and soak everything up and merely remember that feeling.
