Victor and Jay's First Meeting

Victor meets Jay when Jay accidently presses the elevator button to a rarely used elevator, which is meant only for company's top brass. There are two things that stand out here: 1. Jay and Victor both are trying to read each other based on their expressions. Jay is talking about an encounter with a girl (Victor's daughter) but Victor doesn't realize that. Jay does this to know how much Victor actually keep tabs on his daughter. 2. Victor realizes his power and stature doesn't intimidate Jay, which works in Jay's favor. If he had acted like every other employee, Victor wouldn't have kept tabs on Jay, and the rest is history. Literally.

Blurb gives away plot lines but that doesn't take away the thrill, only raises interest in readers, once you start reading you just can't keep the book away, one just gets sucked/engrossed into the plot. Plot revolves around Vik /Jay trying to avenge the murder of his family. So who is Vik, about murder of family: what really happened and how it happened, how he finds people responsible/ truth, his plans, actions and efforts to unravel the mystery, who are bad guys and what do they want etc. find answers to before and more by grabbing a copy of book. Author's narration style is great, evenly paced, language is easy only demerit I feel is plot is quite lengthy. Enjoyed reading the plot and definitely look forward to read the next book. Would recommend to all fiction lovers.

This was an excellent read that kept me on my toes from the first page to the last. I am not much of a sleuth, so as I read the book I kept thinking, “don’t trust him” or “don’t trust her.”. The ending was a surprise to me although I’m sure there are those who will say it was obvious from the beginning. It never is to me, so I always wonder about those kinds of statements. The past and present of Vik / Jay, have been beautifully executed. They are some elements that aren’t clear to me, and I’m certain that they would be covered in the next book in the series. Eleven Graves, you have my attention. Kudos to the author, Aman Gupta!

Eleven Graves: The Secret of the Missing Night by Aman Gupta is a great mystery! Jumping right into the mysterious exchange that leads to a death and into even so much more that the author packed into the pages. Once I started reading, I just couldn’t put it down until I had explored every single page to the end. The suspense keeps up the pace and the storyline moves in three different timelines and meshed well together to create the whole story! If you love a good murder mystery, then this is the way to go!!

Sometimes a long read can attract us in a manner that we tend to keep on reading for hours, that we finally realize it's been too long since we've started reading. Eleven Graves is A long read, with the mystery element kept intact till the end. One thing that is to be mentioned is that the book kept me hooked up from the very beginning, with its ease, wit and all the suspense. The book is in chapters. The characters are given a nice progress. Especially the main characters are given a good amount of importance, that it feels as if we're living in it rather than just read.

Coming to the writing style, the author has the ability to keep the reader hooked up till the end. The language used by the author is simple and easy to understand. The cover is obviously intriguing and is eyecatchy. I promise, if you fall for the cover and pick this book, there's no way you'll regret reading it. The ending is absolutely amazing and worth the read.

The storyline moves in 3 timelines (I liked it!) and they were discreetly identifiable from the context. The murder mystery and suspense throughout the book, keeping it paced and exciting all the time. Although it is a long read, once you get into it you won’t feel like putting the book down. The protagonist Jay/Vik is shown very intelligent and witty clearing his path through all the mysteries
