To one interested in history, Babur's autobiography is an interesting account of his contemporary Hindostan and the places around it. It gives a detailed description of life of the people who inhabited this part of the world in those days. It also vouchsafes a view into the incessant combats of rulers and the change of dynasties that followed. The translation from original Turkish is lucid enough. Printing and binding is fairly good.
