I'm not a huge poetry lover and I normally don't seek out memoirs by poets, but Sean's beautiful writing and captivating, deeply personal narrative had me hooked. It's absolutely not what I would call a "beach read" but nevertheless, I read it sitting on the beach in one sitting! I can't wait to read what Sean writes next. A vivid, beautiful debut!
