Recommendable

I have read most of the Rizzoli & Isles series and always enjoy the familiar characters and original plotting. This one was lots of fun and was obviously carefully plotted. There were a couple of surprises at the end - one I guessed but the other was a surprise for me. One reason I enjoy this author and this series is that there is never a cliffhanger; every story has a full and complete denouement and ending. We have been enjoying them since 2001, when the first one, The Surgeon, was published. I believe this one was #13. There also was a brief TV series adaptation, which I didn't enjoy as much. Each one can be read as a stand-alone, but it's more fun to read them in order. Enjoy!
