Incredible. Having read all of Michael Moorecocks Eternal Champion books, it's truly amazing that his first entry in this saga in 15 YEARS is his masterpiece. I would compare this to the song "Budapest" by Jethro Tull, in the sense that this piece is the ultimate rendition of the band as this book is the ultimate rendition of the Elric character. HIGHLY recommended.
