Through loss, rage, and self-discovery, this story follows Alex's journey as she deals with the events leading up to and beyond the Mass Dragoning, and her connection with the phenomenon itself.

This is a work of magical creativity. What if a woman you loved transformed into a dragon? I thought it was perfect to begin the story in the mid-1950s, a time that was very proscriptive and repressive toward women. I thoroughly loved this book.
